ASQA is the national register for the Australian VET sector. ASQA regulates courses and training providers to ensure approved quality standards are met.
ASQA is the key compliance framework to ensure we are providing quality services.
There are Industry Standards of National Registration that we must comply with that include:
Interactions with the registering body
Compliance with legislation
Certification and issuing of qualifications and Statements of Attainment
Recognition of qualifications issued by other RTOs
Accuracy and integrity of marketing
Transition to Training Packages/expiry of accredited courses
ASQA's standards are set by the National Quality Council.
Note that only courses or Units of Competency that are nationally accredited will issue Certificates with the Nationally Recognised Training Logo as shown.
Courses are developed through consultation with professional associations, external academics and industry stakeholders. Courses at CIVT are revised regularly in response to student feedback, new research and industry changes.
