This course is designed for people like you who are working in or who wish to work in the Animal Care Industry, providing advice and support for clients and their animals to maintain and improve animal healt Animal Naturopathy h and wellbeing through natural means.

If you are an animal carer, groomer, breeder, animal store worker, animal attendant or veterinary nurse/ technician, working with assistance dogs or working dogs or you simply want to take an active role in improving animal health and wellbeing then this is a course for you.

It covers companion animals cats, dogs, horses and some smaller animals. A focus on the principles of animal naturopathy, natural nutrition, natural animal health care and environmental health provide the basis for this course.

It consists of 3 nationally accredited units of competency.

Communication and Course Course Material	We will provide self paced learning content and activities within the myCIVT classroom online. You will receive a log in and password to access this room. From myCIVT you can access course content as well as submit assessment tasks. Email/skype/chat support is available. You will need fast broad band internet access for video content, a webcam or skype for interviews and some assessments. Access to an animal workplace or animal environment.
Course schedule	ON DEMAND. Enroll and start studying at a time that suits you! You can finish is as quickly or as slowly as you wish, you will have 3 months to complete each Unit from the date you start your course. Prerequisites	Learners should have independent computer skills and be able to access the internet. Webcam or Skype or video recording will be needed for some of the assessments. English language skills are assumed. RPL is available.
