WVHM1003 Advanced Western Veterinary Herbal Medicine
This Advanced Western Veterinary Herbal Medicine course i
s designed for veterinarians who have already undertaken either the Foundation course in Western Veterinary Herbal Medicine or a similar course through a recognised herbal school. The focus of this course is on the Materia Medica from a veterinary perspective and on therapeutics for veterinary conditions at an advanced level.The course is taken over 12 months at your own pace. Modules can be taken concurrently. Electives in Equine, pocket pet, and ruminant herbal medicine and cancer and allergies and topics of interest can be taken.
Students are awarded the Certificate of completion of the Advanced Western Veterinary Herbal Medicine. Recognition of prior learning is available where previous studies are equivalent to units offered in this course. Students can apply for Recognition of prior Learning towards the Graduate Program in Western Veterinary Herbal Medicine. This will reduce the study load and assessments required.
